I hardly ever even caught a glimpse of Grace when we visited but this makes me miss her terribly. Thanks for reminding me about the presence she was in your family. And thanks for those gorgeous photos. She sure knew how beautiful she was! xoxo Mom
Around the time y'all were thinking about making all this happen I was staying with Francis for a couple of weeks. So one day Francis is at work, and the back door is open, and I get to wondering where Grace might be. She's clearly not in the house or the yard. She had gone over the fence to the next door neighbor's. Of course I'm in a panic, what if she figured out how to get over there but can't get back, what am I going to do. And, of course, she had no problem and sauntered back when she decided to.
Aw, so sorry and many condolences to yer man. You know I know the kitty love and have lost way too many. And your first live-in kitty! My wife's dog was my first live-in dog. We lost him and my two casts within the past couple years. While I'm still not technically a dog person, we are starting to look for one to adopt, which will be my first actual dog. Of course, I really want more cats, which will happen eventually, too. Currently, we have a street cat that adopted us and lives in and outside the house (though sleeps on the bed every night.) He's not quite the same as a normally domesticated cat and is still somewhat feral, so I really miss the unabashed, non-potentially-violent snuggles I used to get. He's great with dogs, but I don't think he'd tolerate another cat. :/
Thanks Curt. It's so sad how well we all know the feeling of losing a pet, but nothing compares to that love so we know it's worth it. Here's to a lifetime of petlove!
I’m so sorry about your loss of Grace. There is always such joke when our fur babies die. ❤️🩹 I loved your anecdote from the early days!
Thank you, Candice. She was one of a kind.❤️

I was lucky that she always lingered a little longer for me to grab my camera. I know you barely knew her at all, but she was the best.

So sad to have to let her go.
She was the queen of willful mischief and it's truly heartbreaking to say goodbye.
Man… so sorry for your loss. The photos are incredible sending love. ❤️
Merci beaucoup. Hope you're having a wonderful time in France! xox
