nice -- that's the hotel for me! there was a turn-of-last-century hotel in Vancouver BC I got to stay in (alternative to the thoroughly modern thing on the harbour that the conference was happening in) that didn't have Jan, but did have a really nice feel. Sadly the last time I was in Vancouver, a couple of years ago, it had gone away.
